The firm began in 1972 as Pfizer (Bangladesh) Limited, a subsidiary of Pfizer. Pfizer transferred their company and They changed the name of the company to Renata Limited. The Company is listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange. It has a market capitalization of over $1 billion. The company has ten manufacturing plants located at three different locations. Distribution of products is carried out by 19 depots located across the country. Renata has over 8,000 employees.
